We are looking for a Sales Representative to join our team within our manufacturer of maple syrup production equipment division. This role combines inside sales, customer support, and occasional local deliveries. The position also requires periodic travel to Canada to support customers, deliveries, or industry events.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Interest or experience in sales preferred
  • Ability to travel to Canada; valid passport or enhanced driver’s license required
  • Ability to lift and move equipment as required
  • Organized, dependable, and able to multitask

  • Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with agricultural or maple equipment (Asset)
  • Sales, customer service, or counter sales experience (Asset)
  • Knowledge of maple production or agricultural equipment (Asset)
  • Experience in a manufacturing or equipment environment (Asset)

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with product selection and equipment solutions
  • Handle inbound calls, emails, and walk-in customer inquiries
  • Prepare quotes, process orders, and follow up with customers
  • Provide customer service support before and after the sale
  • Coordinate orders with production and warehouse teams
  • Perform local deliveries and equipment drop-offs as needed
  • Travel to Canada as required for customer support, deliveries, or events
  • Assist with trade shows, open houses, and seasonal events
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records
