About The Position

Piscataqua Landscaping & Tree Service is looking for a skilled individual to join our sales team! The Sales Representative is a self-motivated individual, capable of working within a team. They are responsible for timely and professional responses to new business inquiries. Must enjoy creativity, building relationships, and look at hurdles as a challenge, but not an obstacle. All Piscataqua Landscaping employees takes pride in their work, team, and their company.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of prior sales and/or business development experience
  • Experience selling or installing hardscapes and softscapes preferred
  • Willingness to travel locally throughout the day
  • Innovative, creative and process driven, with understanding of industry best practices
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work variable hours, including evenings and weekends during the busy seasons.
  • Comfortable with sales metrics and being held accountable to these set metrics
  • Candidates must have an insurable driving record

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling or installing hardscapes and softscapes preferred

Responsibilities

  • Qualify leads that are assigned from calls or web inquiries
  • Manage sales process through to close and beyond
  • Collaborate with internal teams
  • Providing an excellent and timely response to leads to new business
  • Meeting with potential customers and providing estimates for landscaping maintenance, design/build projects, and enhancement sales
  • Creating solutions tailored to our customer's needs
  • Maintaining the CRM to track leads and sales goals
  • Monitoring customer agreements to ensure that their expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Connecting with clients, community, and partnership organizations in a meaningful way to expand reach, share awareness, enhance our brand, and drive business
  • Additional duties as assigned
