About The Position

As Sales Representative, your role will actively seek out and engage customer prospects and provide complete and appropriate solutions to boost revenue growth, customer acquisition, and profitability.

Requirements

2 years’ experience
Proven experience in sales, preferably in the food industry or independent market.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
Able to lift a limit between 35 to 50 pounds without assistance

Responsibilities

Manage and grow existing accounts by providing excellent customer service and identifying upsell opportunities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals in the independent market.
Identify and target independent retailers, distributors, and wholesalers to expand market share.
Prospect and acquire new customers through networking, and referrals.
Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and increase product penetration within the independent market.
Manage and nurture relationships with independent retailers and distributors, ensuring customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term partnerships.
Monitor market trends, analyze competitor activities, and adjust sales strategies to capitalize on growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
Negotiate pricing and promotional agreements, ensuring profitable deals and successfully closing sales to meet business objectives.
Arrange and maintain product displays to maximize visibility and sales, ensuring compliance with company guidelines.
Implement promotional displays and marketing materials, coordinating with store managers for optimal placement.
Track sales and inventory data, report on stock levels, and suggest reorder quantities to ensure product availability.
Perform tasks that may include lifting, bending, and carrying products or materials as needed.
