About The Position

Novaspect, Inc., an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative to be a part of a fast paced, customer-oriented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans at a set of defined key accounts. The Sales Representative role is responsible for growth of sales and market share of our complete portfolio of products and services, while maintaining a high level of customer relationship and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical process automation sales
  • Familiarity with Emerson products, technologies, and solutions
  • Proven success in major account management
  • Experience within the onshore oil and gas production industry
  • Must be located in Western North Dakota
  • Strong, results-driven personality with a focus on achieving goals
  • Ability to collaborate with and inspire cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and interest in technical learning
  • Strong problem-solving orientation with the ability to navigate complex customer needs
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, technical, and customer-focused culture
  • Commitment to ongoing training, development, and continuous learning
  • Experience working in CRM systems, including Salesforce
  • Ability to work extended hours on a computer
  • Ability to spend multiple hours a day driving
  • Ability to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs in an industrial environment
  • Ability to conduct customer visits in loud industrial settings

Responsibilities

  • Develop, own, and execute comprehensive strategic account plans tailored to each customer’s business priorities, challenges, and long-term goals
  • Increase sales and market share by representing Novaspect’s full offering-automation systems, mechanical process automation solutions, lifecycle services, and support capabilities
  • Apply a consultative and solution-selling approach to understand customer pain points and recommend the appropriate Emerson and Novaspect technologies
  • Establish, strengthen, and maintain relationships with senior-level decision-makers and key stakeholders across assigned accounts
  • Maintain a continuous understanding of the customer’s business, operational KPIs, and evolving needs to proactively identify opportunities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and responsiveness
  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of Emerson Process Management solutions and be able to clearly articulate their differentiators in the marketplace
  • Assist customers in selecting, applying, and optimizing automation systems and mechanical process technologies
  • Collaborate with internal engineering, technical support, and project teams to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Develop and implement actionable, team-oriented sales strategies to drive growth across assigned accounts
  • Participate actively in sales meetings, forecasting, and CRM activities to support organizational goals
