About The Position

Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking an experienced Sales Representative for their Franklin, TN location. This full-time role is for individuals who enjoy the selling process, can confidently close sales, and excel in customer interaction. The position offers competitive pay, professional development, and a lucrative commission and bonus plan with potential earnings of $150,000+ per year. Sales Representatives will provide exceptional customer service, communicate effectively to understand customer needs, and guide them through the sales process, including design consultations and finance applications. They are expected to maintain product knowledge, utilize computer programs for selling, and actively participate in training and self-development. Moon Valley Nurseries is the largest grower of box trees and palms in North America, an industry leader, and a high-growth company.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of successful commission sales experience
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service throughout the customer’s experience.
  • Communicate effectively in-person & over the phone to discover the customer’s wants and needs.
  • Selling AND closing a customer based on their wants and needs.
  • Facilitating steps of the sale, such as the showing our value proposition, going over photos and layout with customers, design consults as needed, learning their long term and short- term goals, evaluating external design factors, submitting finance applications, collaborating with the customer through the free planning process.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of our products and appropriately recommending them to our valued customers.
  • Navigate and use various provided computer programs as selling tools.
  • Seeking out opportunities for self-development, participating in training, and welcoming feedback.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and demonstrate excellent teamwork.
  • Performing other duties and tasks as assigned.
