Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant sales or customer service experience
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience is a plus, but attitude matters most
  • Previous work experience working directly with the public, selling or influencing others, establishing and maintaining interpersonal relationships, and communicating with persons outside the organization via phone, face-to-face, email and/or social media.
  • Attention to detail
  • Customer-focused with the ability to communicate directly with customers, explaining vehicle details, recommendations and costs
  • Using computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to enter data and process information
  • Cooperative spirit that requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying good-natured, cooperative attitude; being sensitive to other’s needs and feelings while being understanding and helpful
  • Professional appearance and work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through buying or leasing new and pre-owned vehicles
  • Build trust by listening first and recommending the right fit
  • Demonstrate vehicle features, options, and benefits
  • Coordinate test drives
  • Work closely with managers and F&I to close deals
  • Deliver vehicles and create an outstanding experience
  • Follow up after the sale and grow your book of business
  • Stay sharp with training, product knowledge, and compliance
