About The Position

The Sales Optimization Specialist strengthens execution, reporting, and efficiency across the sales organization. This role manages the systems, processes, and analytics that support sales performance, territory planning, and forecasting. The specialist works closely with sales leadership and representatives to ensure visibility into activity, pipeline, results, and opportunities to improve.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in sales operations, analytics, enablement, or medical device support roles
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with Excel, ChatGPT, and CRM platforms
  • Ability to communicate data clearly and partner with leadership
  • Strong sense of accuracy, detail, and ownership
  • Proven ability to manage complex priorities across multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-moving environment
  • Demonstrated ability to follow through and work independently
  • Ability to thrive in a relationship-driven, high-accountability culture where follow-through and attention to detail are essential

Responsibilities

  • Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reporting
  • Provide insights that help leadership prioritize accounts, opportunities, and risk
  • Support forecasting, territory goal setting, and scorecard reviews
  • Improve workflows for follow-up, capital quoting, pricing submission, and proposal creation
  • Support launch plans for new products and categories
  • Partner with leadership to identify inefficiencies and build repeatable processes
  • Serve as a key liaison between Sales and Operations, ensuring alignment, efficiency, and clear communication across departments
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with more than 80 orthopedic sales representatives across multiple territories
  • Support sales meetings, business reviews, and performance tracking
  • Assist in onboarding new reps with process training and tool access
  • Lead the end-to-end creation of proposals for hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers purchasing orthopedic equipment and surgical products
  • Conduct interviews and assist in evaluating candidates for sales representative roles to ensure strong cultural and performance fit.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and execute quarterly performance evaluations for new hires
  • Assist upper management with pre.paring presentations utilized for internal and external purposes
  • Plan, organize, and execute the company’s annual sales meeting, including logistics, content development, and leadership coordination
  • Maintain CRM accuracy, data quality, and compliance standards
  • Build dashboards and reporting views that reflect performance, pipeline, and surgeon trends
  • Standardize entry requirements and train sales reps on CRM usage
  • Leverage Salesforce extensively to report on data, track performance metrics, and streamline reporting processes
  • Analyze sales and operational data to identify trends and guide leadership decisions
