About The Position

Responsible for the successful implementation of sales programs and projects. Responsible for the creation, production and delivery of sales forecasts, advanced analysis, and reporting in support of the sales planning process and sales of the company’s products.Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes across the Sales organization. Develops and supports the equitable assignment of sales quotas, and collects and analyzes data to evaluate current sales goals. Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the Sales organizations. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed to support senior sales management goals. Researches and evaluates economic conditions that may affect the organization’s ability to sell products, protect/increase market share, penetrate new markets, and maintain/improve operating margins. Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and works closely with sales leaders to inspect sales process quality and prioritize areas for improvement. Recommends changes to current sales techniques, procedures or promotional efforts based on market research and new trends. Works closely with Finance, Human Resources, and Sales Management to develop the yearly sales incentive compensation plans and to assist in administering these plans throughout the year. Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company sales and growth initiatives. Provides leadership within sales teams and cross-functionally. Builds peer support and strong internal company relationships with other key management personnel in marketing, distribution, manufacturing operations, and Sales organization in other business. Works with sales, marketing and distribution for the purpose of improving operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Requires at least 10 years relevant experience.
  • Requires an advanced understanding of market trends and factors and an ability to identify likely impact on the sales of various products.
  • Expert ability to analyze data and organize it into useful information.
  • Require expert understanding of financial data and competitive markets.
  • Must have expert knowledge of Microsoft Office including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to Lead cross-functionally.

Nice To Haves

  • An MBA or equivalent is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of SAP, Salesforce and CoPilot are a plus.
