THE ROLE As part of the WW Sales Operations team, you'll operate with a strategic perspective, supporting high-impact decisions that shape Pure Storage's customer relationships. This role is ideal for someone who brings professionalism to complex business problems, operates in a consultative manner with sales and cross-functional teams, and is confident in influencing outcomes at all levels. You will help transform how we scale operational excellence across our Portworx (PX) business. This position will serve as the operations business partner for the VP of Global Sales for Pure's Portworx business and is critical to the success of our PX business.

Requirements

  • Professional experience in Sales Operations or a similar role in a fast-paced growing sales organization
  • Strong understanding of sales functions, workflows, and processes
  • Ability to work independently and respond rapidly in a constantly evolving business
  • Demonstrated experience and history of driving complex projects from start to finish
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with business partners
  • A sense of ownership, persistence, creativity, teamwork, and a customer-first attitude

Responsibilities

  • Provide operations support to the PX VP, District Managers and field sales teams
  • Assist in running the business cadences for PX Sales, which includes forecasting, pipeline management and the metrics that support the business
  • Assist and project manage the sales planning of the Portworx business, which includes planning the sales coverage, the sales compensation, and incentives
  • Track and measure the sales performance in terms of districts, segmentations and theater
  • Partner with deal monetization team on new SFDC enhancements to provide faster and efficient quoting process
  • Partner with BI team on creation of PX dashboard to be utilized by sales leadership
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave
