About The Position

The Sales Operations Manager will optimize and support our sales organization, ensuring we deliver exceptional value to our customers while enabling our teams to achieve exceptional performance. The Sales Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the effectiveness and efficiency of Great Dane’s sales organization. This role is responsible for streamlining sales processes, managing tools and systems, delivering actionable insights, and leading sales enablement initiatives to equip the sales team with the resources and training needed to succeed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales operations, sales enablement or related role
  • Strong knowledge of sales operations and enablement practices.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales technology.
  • Excellent training and content development skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Exceptional project management, communication, and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the manufacturing or logistics industry.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and processes
  • Knowledge of revenue operations (RevOps) principles.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and enforce sales policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Ensure alignment of sales processes with the overall customer journey.
  • Oversee the administration of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools, ensuring data accuracy and usability.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to optimize territory assignments and manage sales quotas and targets.
  • Design and deliver structured onboarding programs for new sales team members.
  • Develop and maintain sales playbooks, training programs, and enablement resources.
  • Partner with marketing and product teams to create and distribute sales content, including pitch decks, case studies, and product guides.
  • Train and support sales reps in effectively using tools, adopting processes, and articulating Great Dane’s value proposition.
  • Provide performance feedback and coaching to sales reps, leveraging insights from sales analytics and CRM data.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track sales KPIs, pipeline health, and forecasting.
  • Analyze sales performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Deliver actionable insights to sales leaders for decision-making and strategy refinement.
  • Work closely with marketing to align campaigns and lead-generation efforts with sales strategies.
  • Partner with product teams to train sales reps on new products and updates.
  • Act as a liaison between sales teams and other departments to address operational challenges.
  • Other duties as assigned.
