About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to engage and lead our sales and sales support teams in achieving exceptional results. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving customer acquisition and revenue growth while ensuring our company remains at the forefront of innovation. Your responsibilities will include maximizing the potential of our sales team, developing and effectively communicating strategies and tactics to the sales team as well as the executive team.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in commissions sales leadership, demonstrating the ability to deliver results with a remote workforce, preferably within the building materials industry.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy skills in MS Applications (Outlook, Team, Excel, etc.) and CRM.
  • Experience devising and executing strategic sales strategies that adapt to evolving market conditions.
  • Proficient time management and organizational capabilities to juggle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Confident in leveraging relationship manager platforms to develop behavioral sales skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales team as a mentor, empowering each sales executive and sales support representative to excel through actionable performance metrics and your exemplary leadership.
  • Learn the current lead qualification/distribution and sales processes, to identify challenges, and assist the sales support and sales team in tackling obstacles by applying improved strategies.
  • Proficiently master our product line, CRM, and internal systems, enabling effective training and knowledge transfer.
  • Develop and execute a business strategy to expand our customer base across both trade and non-trade segments, cementing our presence in the market.
  • Collaborate with team members to establish individualized sales targets, fostering a culture of accountability and motivation.
  • Offer constructive feedback by reviewing sales calls and providing tailored recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Develop prospecting behaviors to grow local marketing to trade partners and local businesses for lead generation.
  • Analyze CRM activities and reports, distilling key insights to present to the executive team.
  • Deliver comprehensive sales, revenue, and lead generation/distribution reports, along with well-grounded forecasts to the executive team.
  • Conduct timely performance evaluations, manage attendance, presentations, and showroom coverage.
  • Uphold and reinforce company mission, strategic goals, standard operating procedures, and protocols.
