Slaymaker Rental & Supply rents and sells quality construction and dirt equipment to contractors, farmers, and homeowners across Pennsylvania and surrounding states. Requirements

  • Experienced: 3–5 years of sales experience required, including 1–2 years in a leadership role, with a background in equipment rental, construction sales, or agricultural sales. High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree in Business, Sales, or a related field preferred.
  • Relational: Builds strong customer relationships, communicates clearly, negotiates effectively, and handles complex sales situations with confidence.
  • Leadership-driven: Coaches, motivates, and develops a sales team through clear expectations, accountability, and example.
  • Organized: Manages multiple priorities, stays detail-oriented, and uses sales data and trends to make informed decisions.
  • Professional: Maintains a polished appearance and steady, solutions-focused attitude.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using/learning sales and rental software (Point of Rental preferred) along with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Physical Requirement: Able to lift up to approximately 30 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead & coach inside and outside sales teams to meet sales goals and service expectations.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to align sales activity with company goals and growth plans.
  • Stay hands-on with customers and the sales team, including occasional ride-alongs to coach and support reps.
  • Support complex deals, large accounts, and escalated customer situations when needed.
  • Oversee pricing, contracts, and sales processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and policy compliance.
  • Track sales performance, review results, and communicate priorities and expectations to the team.
  • Collaborate with operations, service, and delivery teams to ensure a smooth customer experience.
