About The Position

This role is responsible for leading the marketing of the company's brands in alignment with overall business strategies across both large and small retail accounts. The position serves as the Category Manager for assigned customers, ensuring effective brand positioning and category growth. Additionally, the role focuses on developing the sales and communication skills of direct reports, fostering a high-performing and collaborative team environment. Mahaska provides on-the-job training to help you gain the skills and experiences needed to be a successful Route Manager!

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with the team, customers, and management
  • Demonstrate proficiency with technology, capable of learning to use a computer, handheld or IPAD with reasonable instruction
  • Must have a driver's license
  • Applicants must be 21 years or older
  • Have a valid CDL, or be able to obtain one
  • Be available and capable of performing the physical functions of the position, which include lifting and moving loads of up to 50 lbs. manually and maneuvering a two-wheel cart with up to 200 lbs. of product
  • Ability to pass the pre-employment background check and drug screening process
  • Ability to provide documentation of eligibility to work in the United States upon hire
  • Currently authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States
