About The Position

Associated Fire Protection is looking for a highly motived, driving, people focused Sales Manager to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sales management and the Fire Protection industry. Essential Functions- included but not limited to: Leadership & Management Lead, mentor and supervise all Sales department staff, including responsibility for recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, and discipline actions. Oversee department budgeting; assist with monthly close procedures, management reporting, and annual budget preparation. Set performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations. Track KPI's such as revenue, conversion rates and pipeline health. Conduct periodic field inspections to ensure quality standards are met. Motivate team through mentoring, coaching, incentives and accountability. Collaborate with operations and financing regularly. Sales & Business Development Manage the full sales process and secure contracts company services. Oversee negotiations of contract and pricing. Track and monitor sales performance and leverage historical data to drive consistent growth. Follow up on leads, proposals, quotes, and contract renewals. Prepare job estimates and provide monthly revenue and expenditure reports for work orders and projects. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers and vendors. Prepare proposals and quotes to address customer needs. Resolve escalated customer issues. Plan and execute sales and marketing initiatives, including cold calling and telemarketing initiatives. Additional Requirements Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment and initiative. Demonstrate the ability to lead, mentor, and develop team members. Maintain reliable attendance, including adherence to scheduled appointments. Exhibit professionalism and alignment with the company’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales management is required.
  • Several years of proven success in sales roles is required.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring a team is required.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms and excellent computer skills is required.
  • Understanding of sales pipelines, forecasting, and territory management.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, coach and motivate a team.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and closing abilities.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in fire protection or related field is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the fire protection field is preferred.
