Vision and Mission. The Sales Manager is responsible for hiring, training, motivating, directing, coaching, and developing the sales team. Lead team to achieve individual and branch revenue and net income goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Position requires extensive sales knowledge and a background in management/sales related field.
  • Preferred four-year college degree and 2 years sales/business development experience, with a record of meeting and exceeding quota.
  • Excellent computer skills required.
  • Must also have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills.
  • Strong leadership skills are essential.
  • Ability to lead by example is a must.
  • Must possess the ability to make consistent team building management decisions.
  • Ability to travel as required by role (up to 10% of the time overnight).

Responsibilities

  • Personnel Development and Management.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and manage sales representatives.
  • Maintain appropriate quality staff levels.
  • Hold direct reports accountable to achieving quota levels or greater.
  • Interact daily with sales representatives to plan, coach, recommend, and review their progress in achieving individual and team targets.
  • Conduct regular ride days with sales representatives.
  • Leads, motivates, and counsels sales team while maintaining a positive attitude and setting an aggressive pace by example.
  • Inform sales team of changing policies, competitive developments, and trends.
  • Conduct regular communication and training-oriented meetings with sales team.
  • Conduct individual sales representative meetings (One on Ones) once a month to review and plan direction.
  • Directly responsible for assigned GFI revenue expectations and profitability.
  • Meet or exceed budgeted sales revenue, GP, unit placement, and net income goals.
  • Manage and measure pipeline of 0-60’s and 61+ prospects.
  • Manage to grow customer base with 30% Net New Revenue
  • Create an environment that fosters synergy across all teams while executing company culture and initiatives.
  • Gather competitive information and observe firsthand trends, attitudes, program, and pricing effectiveness.
  • Monitor and adjust the territories as needed to maintain sales rep ability to meet and exceed quota levels.
  • Adhere to the performance standards of PIP program work towards ETR status.
  • Understand and manage to the P & L.
  • Manage positive equipment and internal cost controls.
  • Deliver well-prepared weekly Monday team meetings based on current issues and needs.
  • Deliver weekly Development session relevant to team’s product and sales skills needs.
  • Review and ensure accurate and timely sales order paperwork packets for administration.
  • Ensures the customer understands the GFI Digital Inc. vision and mission.
  • Address all customer and branch issues timely and in a professional manner.
  • Maintain productive and professional relationship with all GFI employees, customers and vendors.
  • Measure customer satisfaction through prospect/customer visits to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
