About The Position

The Sales Manager is responsible for leading a team of Home Restoration Consultants who conduct in-home consultations and close residential exterior renovation projects. You will own recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management for your team while driving revenue targets for the Warwick, RI market. This is an on-site leadership role with significant earning potential tied directly to team performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales management experience, preferably in home improvement, roofing, solar, or in-home sales
  • Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams
  • Experience recruiting, training, and developing sales reps from the ground up
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and hold teams accountable
  • CRM proficiency and comfort with data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, and hire Home Restoration Consultants to build a full sales team
  • Develop and execute a local recruiting strategy to maintain a strong candidate pipeline
  • Partner with recruiting coordinators to ensure consistent staffing levels
  • Onboard new hires through MLM's proven sales training program
  • Conduct ride-alongs, role plays, and field coaching to accelerate rep development
  • Identify skill gaps and implement targeted coaching plans
  • Develop future leaders within the team
  • Set and track daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs for each rep
  • Run team meetings, one-on-ones, and pipeline reviews
  • Hold reps accountable to activity standards and revenue targets
  • Manage CRM usage, lead follow-up, and pipeline accuracy
  • Own the revenue number for the Warwick, RI territory
  • Collaborate with marketing on lead generation and brand awareness
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Report on team performance and market conditions to senior leadership
