About The Position

Death Valley Harley-Davidson, part of the Wise Riders dealer group, is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to lead their sales team in Victorville, CA. This is a leadership role focused on driving showroom performance, managing daily sales activity, and developing a team of Fit Specialists (Sales Associates). The ideal candidate is results-driven, accountable, and experienced in high-volume automotive or powersports sales environments. The Sales Manager will be responsible for executing a structured, KPI-driven sales process while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales management experience (automotive, powersports, RV, or related industry preferred)
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing high-performing teams
  • Strong knowledge of deal structure, desking, and gross profit management
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak business hours

  • Motorcycle endorsement preferred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage the Sales Team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals
  • Drive showroom activity including appointments, customer greets, TOs (turnovers), and closing ratios
  • Desk deals and structure transactions to maximize front-end gross profit
  • Recruit, hire, and train sales staff (Fit Specialists)
  • Monitor and engage in CRM usage, lead follow-up, and pipeline management
  • Conduct daily sales meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, and performance reviews
  • Partner with Finance (F&I), Service, and Parts departments to improve total dealership performance
  • Handle customer escalations and ensure a high-quality buying experience
  • Maintain compliance with dealership policies, procedures, and California state regulations
