About The Position

Acura of Ellicott City is seeking a customer-focused Sales Manager with a proven record of success to join our team. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, and a passion for driving results. This role oversees the new car sales team and inventory while ensuring the dealership consistently meets unit sales quotas and gross objectives on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • 5+ years of automotive sales experience
  • 2+ years of dealership management experience required
  • Proven internet sales metrics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • CDK experience

Responsibilities

  • Desk deals and perform customer TOs to close sales (CDK experience a plus)
  • Train, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve success
  • Support manufacturer programs for maximum dealership profitability
  • Recommend procedures for advertising, sales promotions, staffing, and customer satisfaction
  • Meet with each salesperson daily to review prior results and plan action steps
  • Conduct group sales meetings to drive performance
  • Ensure vehicles are displayed, merchandised, and maintained to dealership standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
