About The Position

Pilson Auto Center is a trusted name in automotive sales, committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and building long-term relationships. We are seeking a driven individual to be a Sales Manager to assist in leading our sales team and elevate performance on the showroom floor. This role combines leadership and hands-on sales management. You will oversee daily showroom activity, coach and develop sales staff, drive revenue growth, and ensure every customer receives a top-tier experience from arrival to delivery and beyond.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of automotive sales experience (management experience preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Valid driver’s license (required)

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team
  • Set clear performance expectations and hold team members accountable
  • Conduct ongoing coaching, training sessions, and performance reviews
  • Create development plans for team members to improve results
  • Manage daily showroom operations and ensure proper staffing coverage
  • Assist sales staff in closing deals and overcoming objections
  • Track and monitor individual and team sales performance metrics
  • Implement effective follow-up and lead management processes
  • Ensure every customer is greeted promptly and professionally
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction throughout the sales process
  • Follow up with customers post-delivery to ensure a positive experience
  • Address and resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively
  • Oversee vehicle inventory levels and merchandising standards
  • Ensure vehicles are properly displayed and marketed
  • Support execution of manufacturer programs and promotions
  • Ensure adherence to dealership policies and legal regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations
  • Monitor departmental expenses and contribute to profitability goals
