About The Position

The Sales Manager National Retail & B2B is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of Current® across both national retail partners and commercial business channels. This role leads efforts to position Current as a core electric outdoor cooking partner in retail and professional environments, including HOAs, multifamily communities, homebuilders, hospitality groups, and commercial properties. Acting at the intersection of retail sell in, strategic partnerships, and new-channel development, the Sales Manager will open new doors, build long-term relationships, and execute programs that accelerate adoption of Current’s all-electric grills, pizza ovens, and outdoor cooking solutions. The role partners cross-functionally to deliver compelling assortment strategies, pricing models, and go-to-market initiatives that expand the electric cooking category and redefine outdoor living for modern consumers. This position is accountable for revenue growth, pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and the creation of scalable sales processes that support Current’s mission to bring premium electric outdoor cooking to more people in more places—from urban balconies to backyard patios.

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or comparable qualification
  • 5+ years of sales experience in consumer products, appliances, outdoor, home, or adjacent categories
  • Proven success selling into national retailers and managing complex accounts.
  • Experience building or operating a B2B/commercial sales channel (real estate, hospitality, builders, facilities, or similar).
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable building new channels, not just managing existing ones.
  • Highly organized, data-driven, and execution-oriented.
  • Passion for innovation, design, and building new categories.
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow relationships with national and regional retailers (e.g., big-box, specialty, omnichannel).
  • Lead line reviews, new product launches, assortment strategy, pricing architecture, and promotional planning.
  • Own deal-level economics including pricing strategies, discounts and margin tradeoffs.
  • Drive sell-in, forecast accuracy, and joint business planning.
  • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations to deliver compelling retail programs (training, demos, co-marketing, in-store execution).
  • Identify new retail opportunities and develop strategic entry plans.
  • Build and scale B2B sales efforts across HOAs, multifamily housing, builders, developers, hospitality, and other commercial partners.
  • Develop partnership models.
  • Generate and manage a qualified pipeline from prospecting through close.
  • Create tailored pitch decks, ROI cases, and deployment programs for commercial customers.
  • Represent Current at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings.
  • Partner with business leader on revenue targets, pipeline management, and forecasting across retail and B2B.
  • Track performance, customer feedback, and category insights to inform product roadmap and channel strategy.
  • Help build scalable sales tools, processes, and playbooks as the business grows.
  • Serve as a category evangelist for electric outdoor cooking
