Job Description In conjunction with business leaders, our sales channel and partner network, the BDM will define, document and own Sensia’s local sales strategy and sales forecast for their region/ accounts to optimize market positioning and maximize growth, returns and market share in its target markets. Identify target markets that are repeatable and profitable allowing Sensia measurement to secure long-term growth. In conjunction with the sales team, Identify, develop and manage key customer accounts securing long-term relationships and customer loyalty. Provide support to the organisation through customer interaction, technical workshops and conferences to position Sensia technology. Working with the product portfolio group to ensure that they have a clear understanding of the competitive landscape, market requirements and price points ensuring that our products and solutions are optimized to maximize market growth and profitability. Ensure that the Sensia CRM system is continually updated. Develop an accurate sales forecast which is continually updated and in line with the company’s growth objectives. Ensure that the sales forecast is also fed into the Sensia S&OP process to assist operations in planning for materials and labor ensuring competitive costs and deliveries for the target markets. Work with the sales team in obtaining strategic engagement within the market to optimize engagements and maximize the use of any internal resources which support our sales function, i.e., proposals, engineering and operations. Technical sales support and training for Sales team and partners for new technology and existing portfolio In conjunction with sales and engineering, Identify and prioritize any certification required to enable market participation whilst delivering revenue, margin and delivering growth. The ability to seamlessly and effectively collaborate with sales in the wider Sensia organisation to position and realize international project opportunities. Work with the portfolio and marketing to provide support in the development of technical information such as case studies to facilitate positioning material and support marketing communications. Drive strategic market engagement and ensure that the requirements are seamlessly communicated to the organisation, i.e. proposal group based on local requirements, project specifications, competitive landscape and our overall pursuit strategy. Help define, develop and manage an optimized go-to-the-market structure including direct sales and external partners to drive growth. Collaborate with pricing function on segment pricing strategies for local markets. This is a summary of the position’s responsibilities and does not reflect the entire scope of work expectations

Requirements

  • 15+ years in strategic sales and management
  • Robust Product knowledge, Technical Sales & positioning expertise and experience in high accuracy flow measurement, analysis and control.
  • 15+ years’ experience in leading the development, growth, and management of flow measurement equipment to the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Product Engineering, Technical Sales or other applicable technical/application background
  • Fluent English
  • Independent and proactive in nature, but with strategy and clear process to back this up and execute successfully.
  • Experience as a credible presenter
  • Tenacious, influential and driven, but a respect for collaboration, process & strategy with the resources available (realistic)
  • Prioritization skills.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of hiring is required.
