About The Position

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sales Manager, Expansion in the United States. In this role, you will lead and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives focused on driving expansion revenue within existing commercial and midmarket accounts. You will be responsible for defining and refining expansion strategies, coaching your team to identify customer needs, and implementing playbooks that maximize upsell and cross-sell opportunities. Operating in a fast-growing, collaborative environment, you will partner closely with Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to ensure sales processes are efficient, data-driven, and aligned with organizational goals. Your leadership will directly impact revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and the overall effectiveness of the North America Expansion team. This is a hands-on role for a sales leader who thrives in a strategic, metrics-driven, and team-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in complex B2B sales processes with cross-selling responsibilities and average ACVs of $50k+
  • 1-2 years of sales leadership experience managing account executives
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue, quota, opportunity, and activity targets
  • Strong leadership, proactive problem-solving, and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ownership and commitment to driving team and organizational success
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional, global teams
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, collaborative, and high-growth environment

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of North America-based Commercial and Midmarket Account Executives focused on expansion revenue
  • Partner with Customer Success, Marketing, and RevOps to audit, refine, and execute expansion strategies
  • Coach team members on understanding client business drivers, building compelling business cases, and executing effective sales motions
  • Drive CRM hygiene and maintain accurate forecasting of expansion bookings
  • Develop, implement, and evolve playbooks for cross-sell and upsell strategies
  • Identify process improvements and optimize the adoption of MEDDPICC sales methodology
  • Collaborate with peers leading other regions and new business sales to ensure alignment and consistency
