About The Position

Rapyuta Robotics is seeking a high-velocity Sales Lead to spearhead our US commercial expansion. Based in the logistics heartland of Chicago, you will be responsible for building our sales pipeline, closing enterprise deals, and establishing Rapyuta as the premier cloud-robotics partner for North American warehouses. We are looking for a builder — someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes personal ownership of outcomes, and has the resilience to open a market from the ground up. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales environments and demonstrates a strong bias toward driving momentum, shortening sales cycles, and moving decisions forward.

Requirements

  • Logistics DNA: 5–7 years of experience in Sales or Business Development within the 3PL, WMS, or Material Handling, warehouse automation, or related logistics technology industries. You must speak the language of the warehouse floor.
  • Proven Track Record : Demonstrated success exceeding targets in high-growth environments, with experience navigating the long sales cycles of enterprise automation.
  • Cultural Agility : A global mindset with the ability to navigate both the corporate boardroom and the warehouse floor.
  • Technical Literacy: Comfort discussing cloud APIs, robotics integration, and ROI modeling for automated systems.
  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: The "drive" to build a brand from scratch in a competitive territory.
  • Location & Presence : Ability and willingness to work full-time from our Schaumburg, IL office.
  • Travel: Approximately 20% within North America.

Responsibilities

  • Regional Leadership: Own the North American sales quota and develop the strategic territory plan for the Midwest and broader US market.
  • Direct Sales Execution: Identify, prospect, and close high-value deals with 3PLs and large-scale shippers.
  • Solution Selling: Consult with customer Warehouse Managers and operations leaders to integrate Rapyuta’s solutions into their existing WMS and Material Handling workflows, collaborating closely with internal solutioning and consulting members
  • Partnership Building : Develop relationships with logistics consultants and automation integrators to expand our market reach.
  • Feedback Loop : Act as the "eyes and ears" on the ground, relaying US market requirements back to our product teams in Japan and India.

Benefits

  • Global Impact : Work at the bleeding edge of robotics and AI, helping shape the future of warehouse automation.
  • Autonomy: High level of ownership in driving US commercial strategy and execution.
  • Growth : Opportunity to grow with the business as we scale our US and global operations.
  • Competitive salary, stock options
