About The Position

The Sales Lead Assigner is responsible for routing incoming opportunities to the appropriate eLead Sales Manager. This involves managing all electronic leads received via various channels such as fax, email, SFAWeb & CI/TY (Consolidated Inventory/Total Yield System), voicemail, and websites (e.g., Starcite). The role ensures that customer requests are responded to within established service level timelines by accurately tracking and distributing leads through SFAWeb and/or CI/TY. Additionally, the Lead Assigner provides SFAWeb & CI/TY support, including data input and report generation, monitors the lead volume of each Sales Manager, and re-routes leads as necessary. Professional handling of team member and internal stakeholder requests is expected. The position also entails performing administrative assistant responsibilities, such as contract generation, manager opportunity turnover, and capturing voicemail messages, as directed by a supervisor. Data compilation and report creation from Marriott internal data sources (e.g., MRDW, SFAWeb, MarRFP database) are also part of the role. The incumbent must adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, ensure confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Effective communication, accurate document preparation, and professional telephone etiquette are required. The role involves developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and complying with quality assurance standards. Physical demands include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance, and using computers and/or point of sale systems for work-related information.

Responsibilities

  • Route incoming opportunities to the appropriate eLead Sales Manager
  • Manage all incoming electronic leads into the Sales office via fax, email, SFAWeb & CI/TY (Consolidated Inventory/Total Yield System), voicemail, and websites (e.g. Starcite), etc.
  • Route leads via SFAWeb and/or CI/TY to the appropriate eLead Sales Manager in order to ensure that customer requests are responded to within the service level timeline for each incoming electronic lead
  • Accurately track all the leads and distribution
  • Provide SFAWeb & CI/TY support, including data input and report generation, as required
  • Monitor lead volume of each Sales Manager and re-route leads as needed
  • Handle team member and internal stakeholder requests in a professional manner
  • Perform other administrative assistant responsibilities as needed (e.g. contract generation, manager opportunity turnover, capture voicemail messages, etc) as directed by supervisor
  • Compile data and create reports from Marriott internal data sources (e.g. MRDW, SFAWeb, MarRFP database)
  • Follow all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • Protect company assets
