The Job We're currently seeking entry-level talent to join our Sales Internship Program for summer 2026. This internship is designed for current bachelor’s students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment and learning how business development works from start to finish. Interns will work alongside experienced team members and gain exposure to the full sales process. From initial outreach and relationship building to client engagement and closing support, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to real business initiatives. This program is designed to further develop communication skills and teach how to navigate professional conversations with clients through meaningful experience. Interns will receive mentorship from experienced professionals and develop a strong foundation in consultative sales, client engagement, and business strategy.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a Bachelor's Degree
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, telephone, and written communication skills

  • Decision-Making: Strong leadership skills and the ability to make decisions using sound reasoning and logic

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for contacting sales leads and set meetings for the executive team
  • Manage calling activities, notes and follow ups in HUBSpot
  • Responsible for researching open jobs, qualifying the job category and industry and identifying the top local decision makers
  • Represents yourself and the company as a consultative partner by understanding a customer’s business needs and providing solutions
  • Differentiate Katapult from competitors and overcomes objections by focusing on Katapult’s unique niche of helping recent college graduates and companies come together
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports
  • Meets or exceeds daily sales and open job research goals
  • Contributes to team effort by collaborating and accomplishing results as needed
