Place of Performance: CII George Sanders, Aguadilla Pueblo, Aguadilla P.R. 00603. JOB OVERVIEW: OcyonBio is seeking motivated and driven students for our 2026 Summer Internship Program. This program provides hands-on experience across multiple departments including Regulatory Affairs, Validation, Engineering (Mechanical), Manufacturing, Capital Projects, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control – Microbiology (QC Micro), Bioassay & Analytics, and Technical Transfer. Interns will gain exposure to a cGMP environment, support ongoing projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams while developing technical and professional skills within the biopharmaceutical industry.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in:
  • Mechanical Engineering (required for Engineering/Capital Projects roles)
  • Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology
  • Pharmaceutical Sciences or related scientific/technical fields
  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during summer (June–August)
  • Interest in the biopharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
  • Basic understanding of laboratory, manufacturing, or engineering concepts (depending on area)
  • Strong communication skills (English and Spanish preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Eagerness to learn and take initiative

  • Strong academic performance preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support departmental projects and daily operations
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and technical documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and cross-functional initiatives
  • Contribute to process improvement, validation, or engineering-related activities
  • Follow company policies, including safety and GMP requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental needs
