The Sales Estimator supports the Sales (Business Development) team on new RFQ opportunities and is responsible for preparing quotes for the existing customer base when requested. This role involves participating in weekly Sales staff meetings, gathering information for quotes by working with internal and external stakeholders, and reviewing pricing for existing programs, requoting as needed. The Estimator must review all components of the manufacturing process and alert the management team of any concerns. Responsiveness to customer needs and follow-through on all aspects of customer requests, both written and verbal, are crucial. The position also involves preparing quote packages for management review, arranging for quotes to be sent to customers upon approval, processing quotes from Program Management overflow, working on special projects and related assignments when requested, and performing other duties as required, including entering values into the Master Quote Log.
