About The Position

Avant Tech is partnering with a global manufacturing leader to hire a Sales Engineer to support textile and plastic fastening solutions across multiple industries. This role blends engineering expertise with customer-facing technical consulting and sales support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical field
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical sales, product engineering, or manufacturing
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) preferred
  • Spanish language skills preferred
  • Project management experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical liaison between customers, engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams
  • Deliver technical presentations, demos, and consultative sales support
  • Collaborate with R&D on product development and design improvements
  • Conduct customer site visits, product testing, and process compatibility trials
  • Benchmark competitor products and document technical findings
  • Support sales strategy and customer penetration initiatives
  • Manage documentation, change records, and technical reporting
  • Train internal teams on products, processes, and testing standards
