About The Position

3-Dimensional Services Group is seeking an entry level Sales Engineer for our Rochester Hills location. Candidate will have a sales office in Rochester Hills, occasional travel to Lapeer facilities may be required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Meet targeted sales goals (revenue, target accounts, penetration, etc.). Work with Sr. Sales Engineers to learn to quote prototype and low volume manufacturing projects in metal & plastic. Effectively utilize documentation to improve and manage customer relationships. Stay up to date with detailed contact / account information, attach and log relevant emails / communication. Work through program management team to get jobs through system and avoid being in the shop. Work with sales manager to establish target accounts to increase revenue and relationship. Follow up on all opportunities until either closed or won status. Maintain hotlist in both timeliness and accuracy.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree or equivalent manufacturing experience will be a plus but not required.
  • Ability to learn technical nature of manufacturing processes in prototype parts manufacturing.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
