Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in healthcare or hospital systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and CRM business software.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with collaborators such as facilities managers, biomedical engineers, and procurement teams at hospitals.
  • Provide new hospital clients with a comprehensive understanding of Spirax Sarco’s steam and thermal energy solutions, emphasizing patient safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and pursue self-generated growth opportunities within Houston hospitals, healthcare systems, and medical centers.
  • Develop and nurture connections with distribution channels through planning and technical training.
  • Develop and supervise the business plan for your sales territory to ensure flawless execution.
  • Generate sales that exceed the forecast for the area, contributing to Spirax Sarco’s market share growth.
  • Build and implement specific activities that align with the organization’s strategic goals.
  • Cultivate customer relationships to develop repeat business in assigned territories.
  • Collaborate with your Regional Sales Manager to develop a dynamic Top 25 account list within your territory.
  • Determine sales potential of companies, prioritize accounts, and develop action plans to penetrate the market, including cold calling and canvassing techniques.
  • Train end users on Spirax Sarco products and services through informal sessions and formal presentations.
  • Ensure customers receive accurate and timely quotations for products/services and expedite orders as needed.
  • Ability to conduct “boardroom” style presentations for customers.
