The Director of Sales will be an experienced sales professional responsible for growing ad sales and sponsorship revenue, while driving commercial opportunities for Sphere Co. The Director of Sales will sit in New York City and cover select categories such as Food & Bev, Automotive and Healthcare, cultivate client relationships with C-suite stakeholders, key decision makers, and their respective agencies. Maximize revenue through strategic marketing solutions, innovative sales and marketing concepts focused on global brands. Responsible for selling the Exosphere—the world’s largest outdoor LED canvas—along with sponsorship packages, official sponsor naming rights, and custom brand integrations. Focus on building media and sponsorship partnerships with the largest companies in the world. Ensure accounts are properly tracked and updated in CRM. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Strategy, Legal, Finance and Creative) to implement and develop data-driven sales approach and maximize efficiency in the sales process. Strategically utilize outward facing activities (events & travel) and time with prospects. Build and cultivate external networks and relationships and prospect clients as needed. Focus efforts on media strategies designed to maximize revenue streams for Sphere Co. and cross collaboration with the MSG Family of Companies. Deliver a sales quota, manage an extensive pipeline process, and maintain customer relationships across all levels.
