External Field Zayo seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Training & Enablement Intern to support our Sales Training & Enablement team. This internship offers hands-on experience in building impactful learning programs that help sales teams be more productive, reach more customers, and sell more effectively. This role is ideal for someone interested in sales, marketing, learning & development, communications, or business operations who wants exposure to how a high-performing sales organization is enabled and supported.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort working with data.

Nice To Haves

  • Interest in sales, learning & development, or training.
  • Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesloft, LMS platforms, or video editing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of sales training materials (presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, eLearning content, videos, and microlearning assets.)
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing enablement content in learning platforms and shared repositories.
  • Help coordinate and support live and virtual training sessions (logistics, communications, participant tracking.)
  • Conduct research on sales best practices, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze training participation and engagement data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in developing communications to promote enablement initiatives.
  • Support onboarding program enhancements for new sellers and sales leaders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and operations teams.
