About The Position

The Sales Director (SD) is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Representatives covering an assigned customer and prospect base. This role owns revenue performance and execution across: outbound sales activity, new business acquisition, warranty sales, and adherence to defined activity standards. The SD ensures consistent sales execution, pipeline discipline, and customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a sales team
  • Strong understanding of outbound sales model and sales processes
  • Demonstrated success in business development and value-added product sales
  • Hands-on coaching and performance management capability
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience using CRM and sales performance management tools
  • Ability to travel within the assigned region as required

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and manage a team of Sales Representatives
  • Set clear expectations for performance, activity standards, and sales behaviors
  • Conduct regular 1-on-1’s coaching, call reviews, pipeline reviews, and feedback
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent to meet the business needs
  • Establish, monitor, and enforce daily and weekly activity standards
  • Ensure consistent execution of sales processes across the region
  • Drive productivity and effective time management across the sales team
  • Identify performance gaps and implement corrective action plans as needed
  • Own revenue, margin, new business and warranty sales performance.
  • Drive new business through disciplined outbound prospecting and lead conversion
  • Ensure each representative maintains a healthy and actionable sales pipeline
  • Partner with team on key deals, strategic accounts, and complex negotiations
  • Drive consistent promotion and sale of warranty products
  • Ensure warranty attachment and revenue targets are achieved
  • Coach the team on value-based warranty selling and objection handling
  • Track, analyze, and report regional performance against key KPIs
  • Use data and dashboards to drive accountability and continuous improvement
  • Prepare and present regional updates to senior leadership
  • Ensure CRM accuracy and compliance across the sales team
