About The Position

Blue Star Security is seeking a motivated Sales Director to expand our customer base and drive significant revenue growth. To succeed in this role, you must have a strong track record selling off-duty law enforcement security services or similar high-level protective solutions using a strategic, consultative sales approach. This is a true hunter role. The ideal candidate is self-driven, highly networked, and skilled at building long-term relationships. If you have experience creating and growing a book of business, identifying new opportunities, and closing deals with decision-makers, we want to meet you. Ultimately, your mission is to meet and exceed sales quotas, elevate Blue Star’s market presence, and position us as the premier provider of off-duty law enforcement security programs in your region.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience in a senior sales role
  • Must be comfortable with spending extensive time on the phone daily
  • Proficient in web-based applications (i.e. salesforce.com), and programs (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint), to effectively edit and create reports, database entries, and presentation materials
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel throughout all areas of the territory as needed, including overnight travel
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in one (or more) of the following fields: Sales, Sales Enablement, Sales Development, or Customer Relationship Management.

Responsibilities

  • Sales Hunters are responsible for initiating contact with prospective customers to generate and qualify leads, promote Blue Star’s off-duty law enforcement services, and identify high-value sales opportunities.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships within the territory to position Blue Star Security as the most reliable and responsive off-duty law enforcement provider.
  • Confidently communicate and present Blue Star’s value proposition, service model, and capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Develop, customize, and submit detailed business proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Present recommended security solutions through video meetings or in-person presentations.
  • Lead complex negotiations with prospective clients and successfully close deals.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned new business sales targets.
  • Build and maintain a strong, active sales pipeline while reporting accurate regional sales activity and results.
  • Research and analyze regional market trends to uncover new opportunities for growth.
  • Proactively identify potential issues that could impact service delivery and recommend timely solutions.
  • Participate in targeted sales initiatives such as campaigns, outreach blitzes, and strategic call sessions.
  • Attend industry events, networking functions, and community engagements to expand reach and strengthen brand presence.
