About The Position

ProSolar is seeking a results-driven Sales Director to build, lead, and scale a high-performing residential solar sales team in Florida. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, developing top sales talent, and ensuring consistent execution of ProSolar’s sales strategy. The Sales Director will recruit, train, and manage Solar Consultants while fostering a high-performance, ethical, and customer-focused sales culture. This is a hands-on leadership role, including coaching in the field, supporting deals, and occasionally closing sales when needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in residential solar sales or a comparable high-performance, commission-based environment
  • Strong coaching, recruiting, and team development skills
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership abilities
  • Reliable transportation and smartphone required
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • High integrity and commitment to ethical sales practices
  • Familiarity with CRM systems

Nice To Haves

  • Previous sales leadership or team management experience preferred
  • Experience leading sales teams in solar, home improvement, roofing, alarms, or other commission-driven industries preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of 8–12 Solar Consultants
  • Drive consistent revenue growth through coaching, accountability, and performance management
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new team members
  • Conduct ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and weekly one-on-ones
  • Monitor team performance, productivity, and pipeline health
  • Build a culture of high performance, collaboration, and integrity
  • Support Solar Consultants with deal strategy and closing assistance
  • Step in to close deals when necessary
  • Ensure the team delivers an excellent customer experience throughout the sales process
  • Set clear performance expectations and monitor results
  • Recognize top performers and develop leadership potential
  • Maintain ethical and compliant sales practices
  • Maintain strong communication with executive leadership regarding sales performance, market feedback, and operational needs
  • Communicate company goals and strategy clearly to the team
