About The Position

Dohrn Transfer is your complete Midwestern transportation partner. We offer less-than-truckload, truckload and value-added services throughout our 10-state service area. Our family operated company provides the attention and flexibility that only a regional carrier can, backed by excellence in service and powerful logistical tools. To develop the Account Executives into skilled negotiators, to accompany them on sales calls as a representative from the corporate executive team communicating our value proposition to customers, and to communicate direction and updates from corporate to Account Executives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management preferred
  • Valid Driver’s license
  • Ability to travel on demand
  • Superior Negotiation skills
  • Proven Leadership, Coaching and Mentoring abilities
  • Strong Customer Relationship Management skills
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, the Internet; & current applications; willing and able to continuously upgrade one's skill set
  • Excellent Organization and Time Management skills are essential

Responsibilities

  • Grow Revenue by company goal
  • Improve yield by company goal
  • Drive higher prices to improve company OR
  • Develop and Train Account Representatives on a value- based presentation
  • Ride with and coach 4 account representatives per month
  • Provide consistent feedback to account representatives and VP of Sales
