The Sales Director, Production Services is a key revenue-generating role responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities specifically focused on our creative, production, and digital services solutions. This individual is a seasoned sales professional with a proven network, driving market share growth within the event and experiential industry.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of successful, direct sales experience, specifically within the creative, event production, or Audio/Visual (A/V) industry.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Client Roster: Must possess an existing, transferable roster of client relationships , anchored in personal relationships with client representatives who would provide immediate access to new business or serve as a referral source.
  • Must be able to travel frequently by way of air, rail, vehicle, or other modality as required.

Responsibilities

  • Revenue Generation & Sales Execution
  • Target Attainment: Meet or exceed aggressive annual sales goals and revenue targets for Production Services.
  • Proactive Prospecting: Proactively identify and build relationships with new clients, soliciting strategic events that require high-value creative, production, and digital solutions.
  • Account Strategy: Work collaboratively with the PRA Global Sales team to identify strategic accounts with high potential for adopting Production Services solutions within new and existing events.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead the qualifying process for potential opportunities, collaborating closely with technical producers to develop appropriate solutions that effectively meet client objectives and budget requirements.
  • Proposal Management: Facilitate and drive efforts in collaboration with the internal team to develop, refine, and deliver compelling proposals and pitches to secure specific opportunities.
  • Market Engagement & Networking
  • Client Network: Maintain a disciplined and extensive professional network, leveraging existing relationships to generate immediate access to new business and referral sources.
  • Market Presence: Actively identify and attend targeted industry and networking events to build relationships with global account clients and acquire new logos for the PRA brand.
  • Service Expertise: Comprehensively present PRA's Production Services capabilities to prospective clients, acting as the subject matter expert in the sales process.
  • Holistic Approach: Remain mindful of the full suite of PRA service opportunities and refer appropriate opportunities to the Global Sales Team, while maintaining the majority focus on selling Production Services solutions.
  • Reporting & Strategic Input
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and produce accurate pipeline and sales reports as needed for accurate forecasting and review with key stakeholders.
  • CRM Discipline: Track all sales activity, action steps, projections, and results diligently within Salesforce.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Track competitor information and market trends to provide input that refines PRA's competitive advantage and distinction within the industry.
  • Strategic Input: Provide valuable input on the Production Service LOB's sales and marketing plan, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Team Collaboration: Work comfortably within a cross-functional team environment, leading the sales process from initial pitch through proposal development and seamless transition to the delivery team.
