About The Position

SensaPay provides an end-to-end B2B payments and business management platform that combines omni-channel payment processing with a modern POS system (BLogic) and integrated business tools. Our platform helps businesses accept payments anywhere while managing operations through features such as online ordering, invoicing, payroll, lending, and over 200 ERP, CRM, and accounting integrations. Built-in chargeback protection and fraud management further help merchants operate with confidence. We partner with restaurants, retail, healthcare, eCommerce, SaaS, and service businesses to simplify payments, automate operations, reduce costs, and support long term growth. The Sales Development Representative is responsible for driving pipeline growth through high volume outbound prospecting and effective lead qualification within key markets. This role is focused on consistent daily outreach, engaging prospective clients, and converting interest into qualified sales opportunities across our core verticals, including restaurants, retail, healthcare, eCommerce, SaaS, and service-based businesses, while also identifying and qualifying both low to high risk merchants. As the first point of contact in the sales cycle, the SDR plays a critical role in revenue generation by building initial relationships, identifying business needs, and setting high quality meetings. You will partner closely with the sales team by passing qualified opportunities, including more complex and higher-risk merchant profiles, to support strong pipeline development and successful deal conversion.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer facing role (preferred but not required)
  • Must be comfortable working full-time onsite in our Los Angeles office on Wilshire Boulevard
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed activity and performance targets
  • Strong communication skills, especially over the phone
  • Comfortable with high volume outreach and cold calling
  • Resilient, coachable, and motivated by performance based results
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Execute high volume outbound prospecting through phone, email, and other channels
  • Meet and exceed daily and weekly activity targets, including call volume and outreach KPIs
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on criteria such as need, timing, and decision makers
  • Convert qualified prospects into scheduled meetings or sales opportunities for Account Executives
  • Clearly communicate the company’s value proposition to prospective clients
  • Maintain accurate and up to date activity tracking within CRM systems
  • Follow up consistently to nurture prospects and move them through the sales funnel
  • Collaborate closely with our field sales team to ensure a smooth handoff
  • Continuously refine outreach messaging and strategies to improve conversion rates
