About The Position

Better Car People is seeking a high-energy, driven, and dynamic Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. This role is critical to our sales organization, serving as one of the first touchpoints for prospective clients. As an SDR, you will help set the tone for the entire sales cycle by engaging, qualifying, and generating outbound appointments that convert into real business opportunities. Requirements

  • High energy, self-motivated, and goal-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills (phone, email, and virtual meetings)
  • Ability to handle objections and build rapport quickly
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
  • Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
  • Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems preferred
  • Prior outbound sales, automotive industry and appointment-setting experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and qualifying prospective customers
  • Generate outbound opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media outreach
  • Schedule presentations (appointments, meetings, demos) for Account Executives within their assigned territories
  • Follow up on opportunities and collaborate with Account Executives to develop effective strategies that convert presentations into signed contracts
  • Educate prospects on the features and benefits of Better Car People’s solutions
  • Respond to questions, handle objections professionally, and ensure a positive customer experience
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records in Salesforce CRM
  • Stay up to date on Better Car People’s services, software, and industry trends
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop regional sales growth strategies
  • Adhere to established sales processes and consistently meet or exceed daily activity and monthly performance goals
