About The Position

Calero is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support regional pipeline growth and accelerate revenue generation. This role sits at the intersection of Sales and Marketing, playing a critical role in converting market engagement into qualified opportunities. As an SDR, you will partner closely with 4–5 Regional Account Executives (AEs) to drive pipeline within a defined territory. You will leverage modern marketing tools, intent data, and outbound prospecting strategies to identify, engage, and qualify new business opportunities. This is an ideal role for a hungry, driven, and curious professional looking to build a career in enterprise sales. This is not a traditional SDR role. You will be a critical connector between Marketing and Sales, ensuring that market signals turn into meaningful pipeline. Your ability to combine data-driven insight, outbound execution, and regional alignment will directly impact revenue growth.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, and/or customer-facing roles
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain organization
  • High level of motivation, resilience, and a results-driven mindset
  • Comfort with technology and ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or technology environments
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Exposure to sales engagement or ABM tools (e.g., 6sense, Salesloft)
  • Experience supporting field sales teams or working within a regional sales structure

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and engage prospective customers within your assigned region
  • Execute high-volume outbound prospecting (calls, email, LinkedIn) to generate qualified meetings
  • Qualify inbound and marketing-generated leads to ensure alignment with ideal customer profiles
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings for regional Account Executives
  • Act as the primary sales development partner to 4–5 Account Executives
  • Develop a deep understanding of regional accounts, whitespace opportunities, and target segments
  • Collaborate with AEs on account strategies, outreach plans, and pipeline priorities
  • Provide consistent feedback on market conditions and prospect engagement
  • Work closely with Marketing to operationalize campaigns within your region
  • Leverage platforms such as 6sense to identify in-market accounts and prioritize outreach
  • Engage with nurture programs, campaign responses, and intent signals to accelerate conversion
  • Support follow-up and outreach for regional marketing events, webinars, and field activities
  • Provide feedback on campaign performance and lead quality to improve marketing effectiveness
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline data in CRM systems
  • Ensure timely follow-up on leads and adherence to defined SLAs
  • Continuously refine messaging, targeting, and outreach strategies based on performance data
