Why Join Us | DuPont Careers DuPont Personal Protection (DPP) Tyvek® Garments is a market segment within the Tyvek® & Typar® business. Tyvek® Garments is the global market share leader in chemical protection clothing. The segment primarily sells finished products through a global distribution network. Our brands include ProShield®, Tyvek®, Tyvek® IsoClean® and Tychem® brands. The business also works directly with end-users to support and work to specify our chemical protective clothing in a variety of Industrial and Life Sciences vertical markets such as Chemical, Oil & Gas, Environmental Services, Utilities, Mining, Transportation Equipment, Pharmaceuticals, and Electronics. The Sales Development Representative will be responsible for identifying and qualifying potential clients, engaging with leads, managing CRM systems, conducting market research, and collaborating with the sales team to develop strategies for hitting sales targets. This role requires an initiative-taking approach to leading a generation and a strong ability to understand client needs and present appropriate solutions. Location: Remote in Western US Travel: 10%

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in a similar sales role
  • Takes Initiative – Highly motivated and strongly focused on success through top line growth. Ability to take the lead in understanding the customer needs and translating them into profitable DuPont offerings.
  • Good Influence/Negotiation Skills – Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with individuals to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Strong Communication Skills – Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with customers, team players and other functions as needed. It is important to be able to create and execute sales presentations virtually and in-person.
  • Team Player – Possesses good interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Planning and organizing – Ability to multi-task and form actionable plans given objectives. Attention to detail and follow-up are a must.
  • Independent self-starter – Ability to work independently and proactively to maintain existing sales and drive growth.
  • Innovation – Seeks creative win-win solutions and opportunities to do things better to solve problems, delight customers and improve results.
  • Computer skills including proficiency in MS Office application

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales pipeline growth through personalized outbound outreach to multiple stakeholders within prospect and customer accounts, in close partnership with field sales.
  • Achieve or exceed targets for qualified appointments, forecasted deals, and revenue contribution.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to qualify, nurture, and convert leads while providing ongoing feedback on lead quality and customer needs.
  • Maintain consistent, multi-channel prospect engagement (phone, email, social), keeping accurate and detailed records in Salesforce.
  • Develop product expertise, participate in sales planning and regional meetings, and continuously identify process improvements to enhance demand generation effectiveness.
