Overview Sales Development Rep (SDR) role - Crestron’s SDR team makes a daily impact using inbound and outbound prospecting tools to identify leads, generate demand, and engage in discovery conversations (BANT) to qualify opportunities. SDRs collaborate with other Crestron teams to increase sales. Our SDRs proudly offer superlative service to various types of customer groups if they need assistance or direction. Each member of the SDR team enjoys ongoing learning about product benefits, avenues for support, and the opportunity to cultivate or refine their own sales skills. Crestron’s SDRs can describe the benefits of Crestron technology during calls and communicate appropriate expectations to customers and others. We expect members of this team to utilize our CRM and engagement tools meticulously because timely documentation and great communication produce shared success. This job encompasses varied procedures for differing customer needs, and members of this team embrace flexibility, enjoy working individually, and gladly contribute with peers toward combined accomplishments and triumphs.

Requirements

  • Prior Sales or customer service experience - preferred
  • CRM experience, such as Salesforce, is preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of SalesLoft and Zoominfo is helpful but not necessary.
  • Excellent phone and written communication skills (Required)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills (Required)
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to problem solve (Required)
  • Learn Crestron’s situational procedures and have an ongoing desire to learn about Crestron’s products and services.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency for engagement and follow-through.
  • Ability to apply constructive feedback to contribute to the development and ongoing success of our team.
  • Ability to demonstrate good judgement and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to be onsite in our Plano, TX location on a hybrid work arrangement 3 days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Sales or customer service experience - preferred

  • Technical interest/acument preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new leads and opportunities using outbound prospecting and inbound lead resources (B2B).
  • Follow a cadence of phone and email action steps, while documenting outcomes to keep our CRM up to date.
  • Engage in professional and genuine discovery conversations to understand customer needs. Communicate next steps.
  • Collaborate with Crestron’s Channel Sales, Sales Development, and Support teams to ensure revenue generation and brand integrity.
  • Provide excellent service to several types of customers when they request aid and/or direction.
  • CRM experience, such as Salesforce, is preferred but not required.
