Sales Development Program Niagara's Sales Development team is crucial to the retention and growth of our customers. Through this 18-month program, participants will work closely with Sales Development Managers and Regional Sales Managers to learn Niagara's culture and strategies and support internal customers. At the end of this program, you will be ready to take on critical roles within Niagara's Sales network.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Word, Advanced Excel and Advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic environment

Responsibilities

  • Learn directly from senior sales development team members and support:
  • Sales reporting responsibilities
  • Work with Leadership on special projects, and be able support specific tasks within these projects
  • Handling internal day-to-day customer and crisis management
  • Internal communication with Transportation, Planning and Customer Service
  • Clients with accounts receivable, new item rollouts, service level opportunities, etc.
  • Clients with documentation requests for promotions
  • Drive continuous improvement through optimization of customer reporting tools and proprietary systems and identifying opportunities for improvements in operational efficiencies, service levels, and operational points of difference
  • Facilitate execution of all special programs (ex. causal marketing, cross-promotional, special bonus pack promotions, etc.)
  • Work with your team to triage customer and account issues and partner with internal teams to identify resolutions
  • Work directly with internal Niagara departments to learn about our business and better prepare for your long-term career in sales
