As Silk continues to grow, we are looking for a Manager of Sales Development to lead and scale our SDR team. This role is responsible for building a high-performing outbound and inbound pipeline generation engine that fuels Silk’s enterprise sales organization. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys developing early-career sales talent, driving pipeline generation, and building disciplined prospecting motions within a fast-growing enterprise technology company. The Role The Manager of Sales Development will lead a team of SDRs responsible for generating qualified pipeline for Silk’s enterprise sales organization. You will be responsible for hiring, coaching, and developing SDRs while implementing the processes, messaging, and operational rigor needed to drive consistent pipeline creation. This role requires a leader who is both a coach and an operator, someone who understands modern outbound prospecting, thrives in fast-moving environments, and enjoys building scalable pipeline generation systems.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in B2B technology sales or sales development, ideally in enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, or data platforms.
  • 2+ years of SDR leadership experience, managing and developing SDR or BDR teams.
  • Proven track record of building pipeline through modern outbound prospecting strategies.
  • Experience working closely with enterprise sales teams and supporting complex sales cycles.
  • Strong coaching ability and passion for developing early-career sales professionals.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM and sales engagement tools to measure and improve performance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Develop the SDR Team
  • Hire, onboard, and develop a team of Sales Development Representatives focused on generating pipeline within target enterprise accounts.
  • Provide hands-on coaching through call reviews, messaging development, and prospecting strategy to help SDRs improve conversion rates and advance their careers.
  • Drive Pipeline Generation
  • Own the SDR team’s pipeline creation targets and ensure consistent contribution to Silk’s enterprise revenue goals.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to align on target accounts, outbound strategy, and coordinated prospecting campaigns.
  • Build Scalable Prospecting Processes
  • Develop and refine outbound prospecting frameworks including account research, multi-channel outreach, and messaging tailored to enterprise buyers.
  • Monitor activity metrics, pipeline contribution, and conversion rates to continuously improve SDR performance.
  • Partner Across the Go-To-Market Organization
  • Work closely with Marketing to align inbound lead follow-up, campaign execution, and pipeline acceleration efforts.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership to ensure strong alignment between SDR prospecting efforts and enterprise territory strategies.
