About The Position

The Sales & Customer Support Specialist provides primary support to inside and outside sales teams while serving as a key point of contact for customers. This role focuses on delivering responsive customer assistance, facilitating sales processes, and ensuring smooth coordination between customers, sales representatives, and internal operations. Secondary responsibilities include backend operational support such as retail account coordination, assisting with EDI management, and order processing to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, or order processing environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, ERP/order entry systems, and EDI processes preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Office Suite including Outlook and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to inside and outside sales teams, including quote preparation, product information support, and follow-up activities.
  • Serve as a primary customer contact for inquiries related to orders, pricing, product availability, and delivery timelines.
  • Proactively reach out to existing accounts for re-orders, introduce new product lines to smaller accounts, and assist with lead qualification
  • Coordinate with sales representatives to track opportunities, maintain account records, and ensure timely communication with customers.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues, complaints, and returns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer and sales data within CRM and internal systems.
  • Support retail accounts by coordinating promotional activities, product updates, and account documentation.
  • Manage and monitor EDI transactions, ensuring successful order transmission, troubleshooting errors, and coordinating corrections when needed.
  • Process customer orders, verify pricing and terms, and ensure accurate entry into order management systems.
  • Maintain accurate product listings, pricing, and inventory levels across various B2B platforms.
  • Work closely with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure accurate fulfillment, billing, and reporting.
  • Assist with reporting, sales metrics tracking, and administrative projects as needed.
