About The Position
Signs & Lines by Stretch is a growing custom signage company based in Waukesha, Wisconsin, serving commercial and municipal clients throughout Southeast Wisconsin. We design, fabricate, and install interior and exterior signage including dimensional letters, ADA signage, monument signs, wayfinding systems, and vehicle graphics. We are focused on quality work, clear communication, and disciplined project execution. We are seeking a Sales & Customer Service Representative who will help drive revenue while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and organization. Position Overview This role is responsible for managing inbound inquiries, preparing accurate quotes, supporting existing customer accounts, and ensuring projects are properly scoped before entering production. The right candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing customer relationships with pricing discipline and operational coordination. This is a project-based business. Accuracy and clarity at the front end directly impact production efficiency and overall profitability.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in sales, estimating, or customer service
- Comfortable working with pricing and basic financial concepts
- Proficient in email communication and basic office software
Nice To Haves
- Experience in signage, printing, construction, or fabrication is preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to inbound phone, email, and web inquiries
- Gather project requirements and clarify scope before quoting
- Prepare clear, detailed, and accurate estimates
- Follow up on outstanding quotes in a professional manner
- Maintain consistent communication with customers throughout the quoting phase
- Coordinate clean handoffs to design and production teams
- Ensure deposits, approvals, and documentation are properly collected
