About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inside Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for our customers, assisting with order entry, answering product questions, and ensuring a smooth and positive customer experience. This position plays a key role in supporting our sales efforts and maintaining strong customer relationships. Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or a related support role (technical product experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Comfortable answering product-related questions and learning technical information as needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, especially in order entry and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and ERP/order entry systems preferred.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of two years of college coursework in mechanical technology or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring qualities with a positive, team-oriented approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to treating all coworkers with dignity and respect.
  • Basic math proficiency and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Enter and process customer purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, availability, pricing, order status, and basic application questions.
  • Provide general product support and assist customers with troubleshooting or documentation as needed.
  • Work closely with the sales team to support customer accounts and help address application-related questions.
  • Coordinate and manage warranty returns, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating product manuals, catalogs, brochures, and other sales materials.
  • Support special projects, including product updates and basic research into customer applications when required.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner during customer interactions and industry events.
