Our custom-engineered solutions tackle a variety of industries, including automotive, industrial, institutional, retail, construction, home improvement, medical, and more. The Sales Coordinator serves as the main point of contact between Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Accounting, Shipping and our customers. They also handle day to day activities around purchase order fulfillment including receiving, processing, and overseeing orders until the customer receives the product satisfactorily. Additionally, they manage returns and adjustments requested by the customer, and stay informed about new products and pricing. The Sales Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting our customers and ensuring the seamless flow of the sales process.

Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred, or related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a sales or customer service environment
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and order processing
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical, mathematical or other quantitative skills
  • Task and detail oriented
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Establish strong business relationships with customers and act as a liaison with internal departments including Sales, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Shipping, and Accounting
  • Answer inbound customer calls and handle administrative requests in a timely manner
  • Update part numbers and pricing templates in our ERP system and customer portals as required
  • Assist with samples and trade show promotions
  • Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all details are recorded correctly and orders are fulfilled according to customer requirements and company policies
  • Work with division manager, customer, and scheduling to ensure forecasts are accurate and up to date
  • Assist in implementing new and updated procedures
  • Create, review and analyze internal reports (i.e. open order reports, aged inventory, TDF reports)
  • Deliver timely information regarding status of PO’s to customers and provide solutions to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify continual improvement opportunities
  • Follow company policies and standard operating procedures; attend company meetings and events as required
  • Track and measure on-time delivery and work closely with warehouse and shipping
  • Quality Management System adherence
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
