About The Position

The Sales Consultant is responsible in generating leads, managing customer appointments, and ensuring a smooth process from start to finish. From the first greeting to after-sales follow-up, you’ll help customers find the right vehicle, offering expert knowledge and support.

Requirements

  • You enjoy working with people and can create a positive and welcoming environment.
  • Must possess a valid Iowa driver’s license to facilitate vehicle demonstration and test drives.
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to manage time, appointments, and tasks efficiently.
  • Willingness to learn and embrace new tools or processes, including accessibility technology if needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in sales, especially automotive, preferred.
  • Familiarity with vehicles and features is a plus but can be developed through training.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers, providing knowledgeable and friendly service.
  • Build lasting customer relationships through proactive follow-up and ongoing communication.
  • Accurately handle all sales paperwork and contracts, adhering to dealership procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Manage customer appointments and inquiries efficiently.
  • Develop leads through customer outreach, self-marketing, and social media.
  • Stay informed about current inventory and automotive features to provide customers with the best options.
  • Ensure the sales lot is clean, organized, and accessible.
  • Work with service, finance, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Follow and advocate for our mission, vision, and core values in all interactions, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing business needs, customer preferences, and market trends.
  • Engage in process-driven approaches to ensure consistency and efficiency in the sales process.
  • Follow all dealership processes and policies, including those related to accessibility.
  • Additional Duties as requested.
