About The Position

The Commissions Analyst executes accurate and timely commission calculations, performs data validations and reconciliations, delivers payee statements, and manages inquiries in line with SLAs. As part of a new team, this role helps build process documentation and contributes to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years in commissions, payroll operations, revenue operations, or similar.
  • Proficient Excel; working SQL knowledge a plus; experience with a commissions platform (Xactly/Varicent/Spiff/CaptivateIQ/Anaplan).
  • Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Validate sales transactions, hierarchies/territories, quotas, and exception inputs for assigned groups
  • Run calculations and reconcile outputs to source data, plan rules, and prior periods
  • Prepare payee statements, research issues, and resolve tickets/disputes within SLA
  • Maintain auditable documentation, checklists, and evidence artifacts
  • Support UAT test cases and data readiness checks during plan/policy changes
  • Identify process gaps and propose improvements to templates and checklists
